Matt Loo Joins DHHRE

HONOLULU, HI - DECEMBER 20, 2011 -- Real Estate professional Matthew Loo joins Distinctive Homes Hawaii Real Estate, LLC., (DHHRE). Mr. Loo, a former software developer ventured into real estate several years ago and was previously registered with Abe Lee Realty.

Mr. Loo holds an undergrad in economics and spent much of his career working for General Dynamics and several other software houses. He retired early, at the height of the dot com boom, and took an interest in real estate investments and property management.

Mr. Loo pointed out that there are growing opportunities in real estate, especially with interest rates below four percent, a new historic low in the market. He expressed optimism about property values for 2012, a sentiment shared by market analysts like Joyce Nakamura, president of the Honolulu Board of Realtors.
 
Particularly, in reference to the November 2011 report which indicated that Oahu single family median home prices were up by 1.2 percent over November 2010. Nakamura commented that the increase in values was a very positive positive sign, since historically, November was one of the slowest months for real estate sales on Oahu.
