Ohana Beach Rentals Hawaii Announces Contest Winners

HONOLULU, HI - JANUARY 05, 2012 -- Today Warren Daniel, CEO and Founder, Ohana Beach Rentals Hawaii, LLC., (OBRHI) announced the top three winners of the company's "5 Nights in Paradise" contest. Contestants were asked to guess the number of seashells in an Hawaiian glass fish vase. The secret official count was 825 shells.
 
The first prize winner was D. Whiting who guessed 824 on December 12th, off by a single shell. There was a statistical tie for second prize with two entries off by 17 shells. The tie-breaker came down to the date of entry. The second prize was awarded to G. Colon who guessed 808 shells on November 25th, and third prize went to B. Way who guessed 842 on December 8th. The winners were announced during the Aloha Joe radio show Thursday morning, January 5, 2012.
 
The first prize was a complimentary 5-Night stay for two at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel overlooking Waikiki, Hawaii. Second prize was a helicopter tour for two provided by Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and third prize was a gift certificate for two to Germaine’s Hawaiian Luau on Oahu.
