Ewa Plain Homes

Located on the southwestern part of Oahu about twenty miles from downtown Honolulu, the Ewa Plain was originally the center for sugar cane production. Meaning "crooked" in Hawaiian, Ewa or the leeward side of Oahu, has always been a hook on the line of suburban development. From wholesale outlet stores, golf courses, pristine community parks and schools, strip malls, and innovative housing developments, Ewa Plain remains a substantial growth center for Oahu's suburban life. Although sugarcane is no longer grown on this side of the island remnants of its rich history and the people that helped shape it are still evident. Sugarcane trains offer daily glimpses into the landscape and the melting pot of cultural influences. Daily visits to any of the new up and coming neighborhoods or attractions helps to continue the legacy of Ewa Plain as a fundamental area in helping Hawaii grow.
